Unlike a traditional jewellery store, our studio is dedicated to original design and handcrafted commissions. Rather than selecting from a collection of existing settings, you'll work directly with Matthew to explore a design created specifically for you.

Our studio is a little different from a traditional jewellery store. Rather than offering an extensive range of sample rings to try on, we focus on designing and handcrafting individual pieces, with each commission developed around you.
Yes. Each bespoke piece is personally handcrafted by Matthew in our Brisbane studio.
From the initial design through to the finished piece, Matthew remains directly involved in the process, ensuring the craftsmanship and design reflect what was discussed.
Most bespoke pieces take approximately 6–8 weeks to handcraft, depending on the complexity of the design and gemstone availability. If you have a particular date in mind, please let us know. We'll always do our best to accommodate your timeframe.
Matthew generally works with gemstones he has personally sourced. He may also incorporate heirloom gemstones into a new design, subject to their suitability and condition.
No. We work exclusively with natural diamonds and gemstones.
Yes. Matthew can redesign and handcraft existing jewellery, including treasured heirloom pieces. Each project is considered individually, taking into account the gemstones, materials and design possibilities.

Pieces valued at $5,000 or more include an independent valuation. Valuations for pieces below this amount can be arranged for an additional fee.
Absolutely. We welcome clients from across Australia and overseas.
Matthew works personally with interstate and international clients through email and video consultations, guiding you through gemstone selection and design decisions.
Once completed, your jewellery can be securely delivered within Australia or internationally.

We offer a complimentary express cleaning service for jewellery handcrafted by Matthew Staff.
An express clean takes approximately 10 minutes. If you'd prefer to leave your jewellery with us and collect it later, please mention this when booking.
